| CHAPTER 1 - THE BEGINNING OF A GREAT CLAN |
| 9/29/01...Matt comes home from school...having been playing Aoe II online for 4 months or so now decides to make his own clan. After careful consideration and planning he finally comes up with Emp for the clan initials and Elite Military Personnel for the clan name. With that he goes on the zone and makes the clan with him being Emp_Leader24. So now Emp is born. Later that day his brother, Mike (me) comes home and is informed about what matt has done earlier that day. So he gets online and is the first member of Emp, Emp_Racingwarlord. A little history on Mike, he was playing on the zone before this but not until the past week or so has he been playing AoE II, instead he was having fun playing Midtown Madness, winning a few tournaments there but never becoming that good at it. Now back this was so long ago I dont have a great memory of exactly what happened back then...but Ill post any info I am told from those who do remember anything about back then). The clan started out playing mainly bloods, Magic Mats, and Hitmanless Hitman. They picked up a few good members in those games but no really good overall players for a few weeks. Some members were Emp_Red_dragon, siege, and ... (the following events happened in this order I think) but things really started to pick up for Emp. Mike had played a 5 player FFA of Super Archers Blood and one of the players in the game (and winner) was RuDeMaStEr. After a little talking after the game RuDeMaStEr agreed to join Emp seeing that it was a good clan to join and he was looking for a good clan at the time anyways, so now RuDeMaStEr was now Emp_ to Emp. With Leader24 and Racinglord the clan still needed some members, (since RuDeMaStEr...call it fate or luck or 'Mike being there at the right time', but this would prove to be one of the best things that happened to Emp in their long history... Just a week or less later after many many tryout games he played another 5 player FFA of super Archers, and in this game was was Gandalf (no not the wizard but he wishes) and as you guessed it... the winner of the game. And just after the game RuDeMaStEr informed Mike via MSN Messenger that Gandalf was good, and Mike said I see that, lol. So after some chat Gandalf decides to join Emp, also knowing RuDeMaStEr helped him make his decision. Also another 6 person FFA in Super Archers this time a great finish with Matt barely beating out the newest member to Emp, Maximus8. Now with Emp having I think 15-20 members at the time, Emp_The_Man1 joins bringing along his web page design skills and another member Emp_Beef. So now after about one month of being an official clan Emp finally has a website. |
| CHAPTER 2 - RISE TO FAME |
| Now with a good number of members and having been around for a month or so, Emp_Racingwarlord having done a lot of things for the clan slowly works himself into a spot for co-leader of Emp. So now Emp has good leadership, Great members, great and ever improving website and is looking good. Sometime (cant remember exactly when) Emp gets a new member, great World Map and Jailbreak player, Emp_Holywarrior. After long talks of Holy possibly leaving the clan, Emp_Racingwarlord gives him time to think, and while thinking himself decides on a major thing himself. After one hour or more of thinking Mike finally decides that he needs to change his zone name, thinking to himself that the only reason he has racing in his name is because of Midtown Madness which he will probably never play again. So bye bye Emp_Racingwarlord, and give a warm welcome to Emp_Enforcer! The next day holy decides to leave and join his best friends (SSage_Unholy) clan SSage, as SSage_HolyDemon. Over the next month or two the clan gets larger and larger and larger trying to replace holy...but no real success, until there are over 60 and maybe even 70+ people signed up as Emp members (3/4 inactive). So Leader24 and Enforcer do one of the most drastic things in Emp history. They look over the list of members and boot most of the people that havent been online for a while and members who were not showing improvement in an effort to make the clan better. This of course caused great controversy. With Emp_Maxmalian8 and Beef mainly angrily asking Enforcer why they were booted off the clan. They were never admitted back on the clan but one other problem did exist. The Emp web designer The_man1 had decided to almost leave Aoe II a few weeks earlier. And now he was threatening to leave Emp if his friend, Beef, was not allowed back on the clan. So Enforcer decided that theman1 and other Emp members could work with Beef to try to improve his game and that letting him back on the clan was better than losing The_Man1. |
| CHAPTER 3 - GREATEST RIVALRYS |
| Happy New Year! Yes... 2002 is upon us...wait...stop the celebration...a war is breaking out! Emp_Enforcer gets news from his new friend MeRCeNaRy that his new clan DnC may be going to war with HK and their allys. So Enforcer gets invited to a chat about this...not really wanting part of any war...Enforcer just decides that he would kinda help from the side line and be happy to beat any HK or any of their allys that give Emp or their friends troubles. The war is pretty much MeRCeNaRy beating the hell outta HK anyways...so it didnt last long and kind of pointless talk from HK...and with this brings one of the best times I have ever been part of in AoK history...one of the great times ever...greatest clans ever...greatest friends and games EVER! Emp, DnC, KhAoZ, HK, and many many more smaller clans...For a while this was one of Emps greatest challenges...many great games came between Emp and KhAoZ...really...if I think about it...this should be called the reign of MeRCeNaRy Chapter...lol...man, one of the best over all players I ever knew...did it all, rarely, if ever, lost in World Map, real good in Hero Fest, from what I remember rarely beat in that too, the best Archer player of this time in Custom Scenario Room, and lead one of the best clans in AoE II. I hate saying this...but I believe this may be true...the only clan that ever beat Emp more than Emp beat them...or it was pretty even...dont know...but I doubt we beat DnC more than they beat us...it was fun man...so if you ever hear anyone talking about the good ole times - the first 4-5 months (give or take a month) of 2002 is the times they are talking about in AoE II. Theres not much that happened around here...few members in and out...unless Im forgetting some people...just lots of good games between Emp, DnC, KhAoZ, HK and others. Also around this time new Emp member, Slayer_717 joins the ranks of Emp. |
| CHAPTER 4 - SAY HI AND BYE TO GREAT MEMBERS |
| Ahhh...the best and worst chapter in Emp history up to this point...where to start... First off, the fun is still going on but HK and KhAoZ and other clans are showing bit signs of falling apart now...lack of leadership...getting beat to much...dont know exactly...something along those lines...anyways...back to Emp. Every one is getting better and better, Gandalf is pretty even with RuDeMaStEr now that he has a members+ account and he is dealing with that and spending less time on the game now. One day while Enforcer, Gandalf and RuDeMaStEr are just chillin, RuDeMaStErs and Gandalfs old friend Powerwolf comes back from being off AoK for a while...so we get playing and Wolf is playing pretty well (dont know why RuDeMaStEr or Gandalf never mentioned wolf to Enforcer before but better late than never I guess :P) a nice all around player so to make a long story short...welcome new Emp member, Powerwolf. Also around this time... RuDeMaStEr is coming online to play less and less now...not good :( eventually sometime after this he starts to not come on at all...this is the last that Enforcer will see RuDeMaStEr for almost a year...yes...this is a huge loss for Emp but we will move on :) Still having a few good games with DnC...great games and still beating KhAoZ and all the other noob clans...Emp still owning all clans and building up their clan battle SS collection :) few big matches around this time was RuDeMaStEr beating KhAoZxMaster 1v1 Super Archers (KhAoZ leader), RuDeMaStEr and gandalf beating KhAoZxMaster and KhAoZxbudsmokah 2v2 Archers, Enforcer beating EAC leader, Enforcer beating MEANIES leader (AKA OOPS), a lot of Emp owning in rated room also :) |
| CHAPTER 5 - NEW ERA IN EMP AND AGE OF EMPIRES II |
| Perhaps the best time for Emp ever. With Gandalf getting better and better in 1v1...not many people can beat him. One day he plays Immortal...loses...but not a total loss...a few days or week later, Immortal makes his own clan with a few other people. Not really wanting to lead a clan, a few days later he decides to join Emp and brings along a few other people, Empress and Archer. And that is not the end of good things, sometime around then Gandalfs old friend returns to AoK. Gandalf speaks highly of him and says it will take him no time to get back into the game and become a excellent player - so XtremE now joins Emp. A week or two passes... Emp is now one of or the best clan overall in AoE II. But it still gets better...Xtreme_God now joins Emp, excelent Archers player, so Emp has the best of the best at this time...all is good... :) Seems like nothing can get worse...just better and better and better. and it does for a while. Immortal beats Dutchie in four different games, Archers, Hero Fest, King of Towers, and one more game I forget at this moment :P , those were some of the high points for Emp at the time. Also around this time KhAoZ and HK are pretty much gone and MeRCeNaRy speculating leaving AoE II, which would probably cause DnC to fall apart. |
| CHAPTER 6 - THE END? |
| Yes...a very sad chapter for Emp...for unknown reasons...Emp_Leader24 and Enforcer stop showing up on the zone. Being of course Leader and co-Leader, this will hurt any clan. So what? It all just ends here? No... that cant happen... how can Emp just end... NOOOO this cant be... |
| CHAPTER 7 - TRYING TO KEEP A GREAT THING GOING |
| While Enforcer and ldr24 are gone, Powerwolf, slayer_717 and Bahamut try and keep Emp going. They do a good job for a while but eventually no good leader is there so it just ends up dieing...They did a good job tho, getting new members Lostbud and Unborn but no one wanted to be a leader I guess so it fell apart... |
| CHAPTER 8 - RETURN OF THE GREAT ONE, ZONE TOTALLY CHANGED! |
| After a few months...Enforcer returns to the zone...and what does he see...MORE NOOBS THAN THERE HAS EVER BEEN!...Zone totally changed...they finally put the flooding block in, and Hero fest is played a lot more now than Archers or bloods. Enforcer sees there is a lot of work to be done. |
| CHAPTER 9 - A GOOD PLAYER CHANGED INTO A GREAT PLAYER |
| During this time, Powerwolf has been training a whole lot in Archers and is now the best archer player on the Zone. MeRCeNaRy, KhAoZ, HK, most of the members from the clans are gone also. Few new members to Emp- DarkBlade-has been loyal to Emp ever since, great friend to have, really cool dude likes to mess around and have fun, good Archers and bloods player. |
| CHAPTER 10 - UPS AND DOWNS |

Just to keep it simple, gonna combine these times here, this is approx. fall
2002-end of winter 2003 here (2003-marchish)...
Having Beating just about everyone on the Zone, and litteraly conqured
scenarios, Powerwolf started playing less and less cause everyone was scared to
play him, and would eventualy leave AoK. During this time Enforcer runs accoss a
few good archer players who would later become some of the best players in AoK
there are today. With most of Emp having left the Zone, a few loyals, including
bahamut, DarkBlade, gallant, and Powerwolf, come back but not that many, so
Enforcer sees there is work to do. First comes across BEAST, after several games
playing with him, sees he has potential and lets him join, Emp_BEAST. After a
week or so they 1v1 Archers again, this time big improvement where BEAST almost
beats Enforcer. Unfortunately for unknown reasons though, BEAST disappears
shortly after this. Later on month or few later, STAN comes up to Enforcer
asking for help in Archers, so Enforcer shows him a few things, cause he really
didnt need to be taught that much, so to help further his Archers skill he
decides to join Emp welcome Archers master Emp_STAN, about a week later, STAN
teaches an up and coming player all he knows in Archers and doesnt take Traveller
long to catch on and is playing almost equal in skill to STAN, so welcome
Emp_traveler also. During this time some loyals and good members are picked up
these include; unborn - other than RuDeMaStEr only other member that actualy liked HF Vanilla - strived to beat Enforcer in Archers but never did :P, but good player none the less kingdude - good player, cool to talk with freedom-not on long but got pretty good at Archers and course was one of the best at HF at the time and before joining Emp. As anyone who knows Enforcer knows, AoK isnt the best or most enjoyable games to play so short break for Emp and bye bye most Emp lol. During this time, members spread out, but majorly STAN made the I3acI clan and MoFo joined also (I3acI, the 2nd greatest blood clan since 2002, Emp course #1 :P) and have always been allys for this reason and more since. |
| CHAPTER 11 - WWWWEEEERRRREEEE BBBBAAACCCKKK! |
| Yup, as usualy Emp is back again for the new year of 2003, woot! Loyals: DarkBlade. Of course always work to do ahead of Enforcer. A noob who never gives up, and who Enforcer had a few funny games with, Woodpencil, plays a 2v2 vs. Enforcer, over the past months or so, he has been steadily improving, now good enough to be Emp_Woodpencil. Some time later, an old member, Falcon, wants to re-join, so Enforcer plays him, realizes... well sees that he sucks, so tells him if he wants back in Emp hell have to train a hell of a lot cause he sucks right now, so he listens to Enforcer like a good little puppy and trains his ass off for about a month and finally is good enough to join Emp, so welcome back Emp_Falcon AKA WingedxFalcon AKA to many other names...u now know him as Emp_IzoLe__. Few old members come back and leave again, nothing major except the new main Emp loyals from now on till present; DarkBlade, IzoLe, Woodpencil. Tons of Emp vs. I3acI for fun matches with Emp winning most, but always good games :). Not to much happening during first half of 2003 really, just Enforcers computer getting worse and worse, so comes on less and less till finally leaving in the summer. |
| CHAPTER 12 - = EMP + = I3acI = XI3P |
| A few months after Enforcer, Xtreme and everyone else left, the two major clans of the time I3acI and Emp are slowly dying, with a few members left such as Emp_IzoLe__, Emp_DarkBlade_2, LinK, Blood, and STAN...Then one day IzoLe, DarkBlade, and LinK come together and decide Hey lets create a new and even better clan... after a lot of name suggestions IzoLe and LinK finally come up with XI3P, standing for Xtreme Blood Players. XI3P was born with 3 great members (lol). A day after the clan was made, IzoLe comes across a guy named LeGenD_EntroPiC_ who wants to 1v1 him in AA. So IzoLe accepts and they 1v1. The battle rages on and they are neck n' neck until EntroPiC finally gets robins two kills before IzoLe, and then wins the game. Afterwards, they talk and IzoLe finds out that EntroPiC is really _I3acI_I3reaKZz_. I3reaKZz agrees to join XI3P to own with old fellow members, and so the four leaders of this great clan are born: Niall (DarkBlade) aDeIPt (IzoLe) Xalphas (LinK) and AzTeC (I3reaKZz) XI3P just keeps getting stronger for the next few weeks, picking up great players such as Woodpencil, MoFo, Zipp, Timing, STAN, Blood, QuAkE, and some old Triad members. XI3P dominates the top ten lists, with LinK on the top ten small, IzoLe beginning to own in ABv2, and AzTeC just doin everythin and ownin. Things are looking damn good for XI3P for about a month or two, but then people stop coming on that frequently (Niall out with comp problems), most of the members go inactive, and Xalphas IzoLe Woodpencil and AzTeC being the only ones regularly on, the clan slowly dies....and so a another great clan hits the dust.... |
| CHAPTER 13 - I3acI REBORN! |
| A few days after XI3P has died, STAN and AzTeC rebuild I3acI, making it a solid foundation of 13 members, no exceptions. I3acI strung out all the grime from XI3P and only took the best with them. LinK unfortunately left Zone to play Counter-Strike. I3acI was now AzTeC, STAN, IzoLe, Woodpencil, Zipp, MoFo, timing, and so on.......Eventually, IzoLe and Woodpencil being former Emp members feel kinda homesick, and decide they cant stay in I3acI cause Emp is in their blood. So welcome back Emp_IzoLe__ and Emp_Woodpencil...Right now Elite Military Personnel is made up of 2 people...things are back to where they started off at.... |
| CHAPTER 14 - EMP RETURNS TO GLORY |

Late 2003 Enforcer finally gets his computer fixed and decides to pop on AoK for
fun, weekly visits mainly to play with friends. Happy New Years all 2004 and
guess what, yup you got it Emp is Back yet again..... DarkBlade still out
with computer problems and loyals IzoLe and Woodpencil more than happy to come
back :). Godfather one of Woodpencils old buddies joins Emp. Few old members
come back, and then leave again, lol oh well guess they just wanted to visit.
Xtreme pops on now and then, every week or so now, to own a bit, damn monkey.
W00T RuDeMaStEr has returned!!! Few new members to clan also: Polazi AKA
Emp_SaI3__ - great Archers player, Sap- good Granny Blood, Holy Blood, and
Archer player. This is just the beginning for 2004 Muhahaha!

| CHAPTER 15 - THE END OF A GREAT CLAN |

Things were going well for Emp. They were. Though, Enforcer started coming on less and less - infact everyone came on less and less. I'm not too clear on what really happened. In about the middle of 2004, Emp was officially dead. Some moved to I3acI, others moved to different clans, but most left... Emp is now just a memory. Finally, the end of the Elite Military Personnel has come. "..three years of dominance comes to an end: Great runs, great friends, great ownage and fun..." |
